The Conscience

Let those that have ears, see
Let those that have eyes, hear
Let those that have mouths, do what is right.
Let those that have a conscience be guided to guide.
Let not folly make you jolly
Tomorrow is unknown
Yet we plan as though we own.
Short and sweet
Lengthy and bitter.
The end is still the end but it could have been a different ending.
Then, ‘had I known’ swings,
Lip to lip with careless flings
Regrets cascading down the face and spinal column,
With careless abandon as a waterfall.
The whispers of the conscience,
Create a hallow on the brain.

I am a social advocate with a biased focus on empowering Fathers to be role models for not only their children but all children. I also love to write reflecting articles and poems on social issues. I am married with a wonderful and loving wife with whom I have three lovely children.
